Brian, This functionality has been disabled as the libraries that it relied on have not been ported to OS X yet and it is a substantial redevelopment to enable it with the current carbonised version of the Dev Studio. It is also much easier on OS X to interface with FTP. You can now log onto an FTP site using the "Connect to Server" item under the "Go" menu in the "Finder". Simply type ftp://<server addr>/<path> and OS X will mount the FTP server as a volume on your desktop. It make deployment quite easy.
