And, oh yes, totally forgot to mention:
 
I hope your IB/FB db is NOT in SQL dialect 3 (I'm aftaid that might be the IB/FB default nowadays), it doesn't work with Tango. The db needs to be SQL dialect 1. This is also a parameter in the ODBC driver setup you need to check.

I am trying to connect to a firebird database through witango via odbc.  The odbc driver seems to connect during it’s test and I can connect via other tools, however when I try to connect with in the tango editor I get the following error (no matter which odbc driver I use and how I configure it): Could not connect.. check user name and password or datasource configuration.  I am in desperate need to get this up by Monday, any help or advise would be greatly appreciated…
