Hey All! Noticed a trait with comments today that I noticed a LONG time ago and I thought somebody would have fixed now. Quiz question, what's wrong with this comment: <@! we do this because we need the timestamp for more than one operation and we can't afford it to be different>
If you answered that the comment contained a SINGLE QUOTE, and it will basically hoop any code after it, you're absolutely correct. What I'm having a hard time understanding is why. I realize there's probably a really good reason for it, but what I fail to realize is that good reason. I shouldn't have to hunt for crap like this. It reminds me too much of debugging HC-11 assembly for hours because of a single space at the end of a line. Things like this that made me go bald! hehe.... Anybody?
