Hi Steve,

The part to pay attention is the last sentence of the event message, after the number 
[1352] 
(the process ID, which will be different each time the server starts). Ignore the 
beginning 
part of the message.

The order of these messages is important.

Prior to the "Loading configuration stanza 'Witango_Server_5'" event entry, do you see 
something like "Witango Application Server 5.0.1.065 Chimera (Win32) [Development 
Edition]."?

And is the "error" directly after the "Loading configuration stanza..." message?

If so, then you might have an entry in your witango.ini file that doesn't conform to 
what 
the Server is expecting, or can read. Something about the witango.ini may be corrupt? 
Just a 
guess.

As well, I think messages like "An unrecoverable OS exception has been caught..." are 
sometimes associated with Permission issues.

Did you install with Admin rights?
