Interesting. It was a bug in excel corrected by upgrading to the latest
service pack. I don't usually run Excel on the DB server so I did not even
think about it. I will have to be more diligent about getting the service
packs on every machine.

A real major bug I would say in the original XP Office that it can't do that
import and get the data right.
