It's doubtful (but possible) that your problem is directly related to
your ODBC. The 'error' you're seeing is a new reporting thing, it's
nothing to be worried about (directly). You should setup a testing
server to hunt down the problem.

Subject: Witango-Talk: URGENT: Upgrade causes server lockup!!!

We're on W2K SP3, upgraded to WiTango build .065.  We're using ODBC
connections to MS-SQL 2000

On build .054 we didn't have this problem. We upgraded to .065 and
immediately after the first person hits our site the processor jumps to
100% and WiTango stops responding.

In the event log we see the following entry:

[  964] 2003-12-14 06:49:05 RUNTIME    INFO     No existing connection
to the data source found, creating a new connection. DSN: odbc.ebay;
User: ;

We noticed that the 'User' field is blank but didn't know what to do.

We removed .065 and reinstalled .054 and made no other changes and the
server no longer locks up and we no longer see the above event in the
event log. Has something changed between .054 and .065 regarding ODBC
connection user names?
