Here's version information: MDAC version according to registry: 2.53.6200.1 SQL Server ODBC driver: 3.70.11.40 Platform: Windows Server 2000 Professional version 5.00.2195; Service Pack 3
Plus, we've learned the following: We were able to reproduce the error on our test server. But since we're the only people hitting the machine it was easier to trace which file was trying to open the database connection. In that file, if I right clicked the first search action and chose properties and then 'development DS' there was no entry listed for username. The deployment DS was set to 'same as development'. We changed the deployment DS and gave the correct username and password and retried the page and didn't have the lockup... Do you think that somehow the username disappeared from the .taf and that caused the problem? We also were getting the following entries in our log: [ 356] 2003-12-13 11:35:57 RUNTIME ERROR The application file "/ebay/survey.taf" has timed out in the "ContainerSpecif__1" action and has been terminated (4341 seconds) (we got about 8 of these errors over 2 minutes) The step "ContainerSpecif__1" does not exists in the .taf referenced. This may not be related. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Fergal Donlon" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Dave Machin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, December 14, 2003 6:17 PM Subject: Re: Witango-Talk: URGENT: Upgrade causes server lockup!!! > Hi Dave, > > At present there are no known issues with ODBC connections in the .065 > build.
