Have traced the problem to a branch action. Most of the time it properly returns to "next" action. A few times it returns to same branch action, causing it to spin around the same steps a few times before breaking out. Tafs not corrupted, Can read the XML easily and is saved in Latin1 character set. Something else is causing branch action to return to wrong place.

Some example of page reloaded problem:
a) If you ask with a browser (Example with F5) a refresh of page, you do a
reload; if page is a "Taf write procedure", you write a record every time.
b) If you use a proxy server, it can reloaded more time the same page, for
to stock it in the proxy cache; You must exclude the "Taf application web
address" from the proxy server.

It's probably a "page reloaded" problem.
what's that?
You can use a "user variabile" for check this.

You can 'ask' Witango what it is doing by putting a few FILE actions appending to a log here, and there. It's the quickest way to see what's going on inside. Just make entries "processing cart" "branching" "inserting cart" etc. You should be able to see what it is doing.

Is it possible...
I have the flow of my taf that branches to groups that do the processing, returning to the 'next step' after the branch.
Is it possible that the 'return to next step' is malfunctioning and it's returning to the same step and repeating the branch to group a few
times before getting dislodged? Could it be that something in the witango processor gets confused about where the 'next step' is?

have had a storefront running for several months. When customer checks
out, their order is entered into the order database and the shopping
cart is emptied. A few days ago, we started seeing that orders were
duplicated and triplicated in the order table. Record numbers
incremented properly and everything. Exact dupes.
No taf modifications involved. Just a new 'feature' (tripling sales!)
The subsequent actions in the taf are not multiplied, just the number
of records created.____________________________________________________________________ _
Could this be cause by corrupt database? (mySQL) ODBC? Any ideas how
to trouble-shoot?
