Witango-Talk: Apache vs. WebSTAR with Mac OS X

Does anyone have a firm opinion (or even a fairly well gelled one) as 
to the relative merits/demerits of using Apache vs. WebSTAR with 
Witango on Mac OS X?
I'm talking about the latest versions of each. I searched the archive 
but didn't find any clear (at least to me) discussion of this.

Cost is obvious but what about:

speed?
load handling?
reliability?
flexibility?
security?
ease of use?
the future?
I making this decision very soon and would appreciate anyone's 
thoughts or experiences.

P.S. I wonder why WebSTAR doesn't list Witango on their big list of 
plug-ins on their web-site. I emailed this very question to them, but 
no answer yet.
