Thanks Robert -

Yes, I can see it in the Dev studio and create a Taf with it, but when trying to deploy it on the server (in this case, a the same machine - it's a dev/test migration box) I get the message that the object cannot be created.

will not work with Witango because they don't have the correct

a different version on the server? Some companies name versions of COM
differently so that they can co-exist. Robert

I hadn't done that, but just did and it hasn't made any difference.
Thanks for that though - one more item checked off the list...

Hi Jason,

You shouldn't have to change the IIS settings from anything other than

the
defaults.

Have you granted permission to the DLL using "Web Service Extensions",

just
like you need to for the Witango Plugin?

Hope this helps. Cheers...

Sorry - should have been more explicit 'Read&Execute' was
checked off, but it also doesn't work with 'Full Control'
granted... (or when Witango was running as a Local System
Service either...)

Hi everyone -

I'm having trouble with a client's setup in getting Witango to
successfully instantiate the object. I've made sure that
the account
under which Witango runs has read permissions on the
directory where
the dll lives, and TCF's are no problem. Anyone encounter
this sort of
thing? Any quick pointers?

Thanks,

Jason
