Hello William, I use the call action way to do it, with succes for more than 2 years now, the better way is to encapsulate the functionnalities in a class file for later use in your application.
I've also checked the msl xml script way, it could be usefull for preparing large batches, it work with a file action (to write the msl script) and then a call action to trig the script interpreter given with ImageMagick. In my use, the processing for thumbnailing is fast enough (on reasonably sized images, ie: numeric photos...) to be made in batch in a single call, maybe your application will recquire other stratagems?
