Witango-Talk: Off Topic : Database server

We will be upgrading our database server which houses our witango information. It is on DB2 which we will be staying with.   I was trying to figure out what is better and I am not sure.   Is a dual 2.8 GHz/800 MHz - 1 MB L2 Cache Intel Xeon Processor better for db processing or   Dual 2.0 GHz/512 KB L2/1MB L3 Cache Upgrade with Xeon Processor MP   I apologize I am unsure of what is better more processor speed of the L3 cache with MP.   If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.
