Witango-Talk: French Text in Javascript in Tango

Hello,   Has anyone had experience with French text in _javascript_ in Tango?   For example, simple alert box:   alert(' aucun crit�re de recherche n\'a �t� indiqu� ');   Tango converts the characters with the accent punctuation into html codes e.g. è, é   I’ve tried unescape(), I’ve tried assigning string to a variable and displaying it with different encoding attributes.   A simple HTML page with the French text in _javascript_ will work though.   Any suggestions?   Thanks,   Richard       ________________________________________________________________________ TO UNSUBSCRIBE: Go to http://www.witango.com/developer/maillist.taf
