Yes.  I thought the terms were interchangeable. :)

Basically, you add an onchange event handler to each select box that invokes
the XMLHTTPRequest to fetch your .taf with the select box's currently
selected value as a GET attribute to the page.  Then you parse the XML
document and use it to populate the next select box on the page.
