Hey Boys! Just as an aside, I believe you can return just data as well, it doesn't necessarily have to be xml, which would make it possible to write the js to populate a list box on the server side and return the js to execute (maybe as a js array?)
Its a little bit hackerish, but I found when I worked with xmlhttprequest that the js to do the parsing added a lot to each page. While it seemed to parse the xml quickly, I'm always a little bit leery of having more javascript than html code in a file. Hope this works out well for ya!
