I have been working with Chuck Leavens <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> helping his re-do his application.
I created a project and have it running find on Windows Server with FMP 8 running on windows 2003 server. We are able to get the ODBC running and working fine since I can see the tables in Dev studio and can run a query and get results. However when you run the taf you get this error Error An error occurred while processing your request: File: customscope.taf Position: Search Class: DBMS Main Error Number: 2704 [DataDirect][ODBC SequeLink driver]Error parsing connect string at offset 24. HY000 File: customscope.taf Position: Search Class: Internal Main Error Number: -4 Unable to connect to the specified data source. File: customscope.taf Position: Search Class: Internal Main Error Number: -4 Unable to connect to the specified data source. Verify that data source is properly configured and that database server is online. [Application File] [0] START /customscope.taf WitangoServer [Search Action] [0] Search : wduq [Datasource] [0] No existing connection to the data source found, creating a new connection. DSN: odbc.wduq; User: admin; [Error] [8] 2704 [DataDirect][ODBC SequeLink driver]Error parsing connect string at offset 24. HY000 [Error] [8] -4 Unable to connect to the specified data source. Verify that data source is properly configured and that database server is online. [request$ Vars] [9] variableTimeout=30; Of course we know the database is up and running since we can query it from inside witango. I really know nothing about server on OSX. Can someone email check and work with him? Is there a way he can obtain support from Wienterprise?
