Most of the examples, were from people who emailed me, to use my
javaxmlcleaner to strip namespaces before parsing in witango. I will
try to find a specific example, but I know there were a few on the
list. They would not parse in witango dom, but java xml parsed them
fine, and my RB xml classes also did.
As you know, I try to send you what you need each time I find a bug
myself, whether or not you respond to me. But the examples I saw that
did this, were forwarded from others. But I think I found one myself
not to long ago. I will look for it.

would do the trick.
XPath is a lot nicer to use than XPointer.
This of course assumes that you're using a version of Witango
that
supports XPath. If not, it's time to upgrade.
You may run into issues with namespaces. It might be easier
for you to
clean out all namespace references before traversing the DOM.
