Fellow witango folks,
I am asking people to test a new web site we have built for a customer. http://www.dss-demo.com We of course are interested in anything that does not work. But mostly we would like feedback on the searching and shopping experience and how easy you find it to navigate around the site and make purchases. Where might clear instructions be lacking? Did we miss anything you feel we should have added? I have not finished the USPS rate system so international orders will not work right. If you are outside the US please wait to test this till I work through the "documentation" on the XML parsing stuff or get help so I can finish that. The customer ships all overseas stuff Airmail Letter or Package. We have squashed the few bugs that came up early today so even a few things we never thought someone would do will not end in a problem. The test credit cards numbers are Master Card 5555555555554444 (12 5's and 4 4's) Visa 4111111111111111 (15 1's) American Express: 378282246310005 Please make a few purchases put things in and out of you cart, change quantity etc and let me know what you think. Add mailing addresses. Etc. Thanks Dan PS: Just some background. This site uses Witango 5.5, FileMaker Pro Server Advanced 8, and SL 2000. It is all hosted by Tronics. All the searches and cart building is happening in MS SQL. The Filemaker Database owns the data and all changes to products are instantly posted to the MSQL database using a filemaker Plug In Called Net tools and witango. The login, and customer records, orders, transactions are all entered in FMP. Login takes place through FMP database which has over 200,000 records. We have not finished the system to allow users to review past orders or track current orders. Thanks again.
