As I'm getting closer to beta on a major application, I've been thinking a lot about the TCF Class Path. It seems to me that I can use the class path configuration to completely remove my TCFs, and hence all my sql out of my web document root. This would be similar to ScriptAlias for cgi and other executables.

And I can also set permission to read only by the witango user, (shell = /sbin/nologin ) to further protect the code from accidental exposure.

Are there any other suggestions or good practices?

thanks.
