Yup, both ideas are good and work well. You can path into a folder which the
web server doesn't have permissions to get to but Witango does for added
security (and the ability to purge just your TCFs and not other TAFs if you
need to), as well as ../ up the tree out of your root web folder (from
Witango's perspective) and get to common folders. I do both quite a bit on
my servers and it works very well.
