brute force and perseveration:
user DSNs are cooked. Just not visible in Openlink ODBC administrator
nor Witango Studio, even though they exist at /thisuser/library/odbc/
odbc.ini
A couple of system DSNs are working. One of them with myodbc driver.
So I try to recreate my DSNs as system ones...
Open Openlink ODBC Administrator; create new system DNS, select
driver, then ODBC Admin crashes. Repeat 5-6 times and then it doesn't
crash, but asks if I want new prefs saved. I click on "yes". Test
driver in MS Excel/Query. it works. Test in Witango Studio. it works.
Repeat for 2nd DNS, test in Excel, it works. test in Witango Studio,
it doesn't work. Test previous DSNs in witango studio, they no longer
work.
