I think this is to general of a question to deal with. Most likely, a
permissions issue.
Also, older carbon apps, like the old witango studio don't always
play well.
Also, sometimes it is the way the mac mounts a server. The path to
the server, can be something like:
/volumes/myservername/
Which most apps work with well...
however, if you mount the server through the new tiger NETWORK icon,
it will have a very different path, with the server name, something
like:
/Volumes/BIGHEAD\;FS1/
Which cause problems with many old programs. I am not using a mac
file server, but I would check this. Otherwise, I wouldn't have a
clue without looking at it. You will avoid a lot of headaches by
editing locally and saving to server. Or using something like
subversion, where you save locally, and commit to server, which is
what I do, and my team.

Anyone got anything on this?

Some time ago my Witango Studio stopped being able to write to my
server. The
response is "Do not have necessary access privileges".
The app is running in the current user account and all other apps
have no
problem writing to the server.
Does anyone have an idea of where this has gone wrong and how I
can fix it?
Workstation is Mac OS 10.4.6. Server is OS X Server 10.3.9.
