Brian, In Windows 2003, one user session cannot see another's, including mapped drives. Most likely the Witango service is operating as a Local System profile, unless you've specified a particular user account. So even though you are mapping the drives, you are doing that as a user such as the Administrator, and Witango can't see those. The most reliable way to reference local or network shares is via UNC paths. This works regardless of drive mappings. Mike

Gurus: There seems to be a problem with Witango when I try to use a Mapped drive in a file process (write) Example : Write to C:\Itenput\wwwroot\Events\MonthlyReport.HTML (works File) Mapping Drive I: to the Root of Drive C: on the same server and writing the same file but to the Drive I: results in an error. Is this a permissions thing or am I just SOL? Tango TIA, Brian Mowers Tango 2000. I did figure out a couple of things, but am tripping up on a more basic issue I think. You have to start by adding a 'Native Module' pointing to the Witango DLL (Open IIS, click on your default site and from the list of icons, double-click the 'Modules' icon. On the right you'll see a link to add a 'Native Module') Then you can add Handler Mappings (you want 'module mapping' - enter the extension and pick the Witango module). That went fine. But I'm getting a 503 error when I try to look at anything. I allowed Web Publishing (HTTP) in the firewall and even tried turning the firewall off to no avail. Any ideas? I've had Vista for a couple months, but haven't even gotten around to trying IIS7 with ASP.NET 3.0 yet (been too busy). Have you installed the IIS6 compatiability components? That might help. I have Witango working in Apache but could use some tips on setting up IIS - the new version is quite a bit different from IIS 6. Can anyone give me some pointers?
