This is what works
DBMS
SELECT dbo.DrugData.GenericName
FROM dbo.DrugData LEFT OUTER JOIN
drug_cat_subcat
ON dbo.DrugData.GenericName=drug_cat_subcat.GenericName
WHERE (drug_cat_subcat.GenericName IS NULL)
then use
<@assign user$GenericName <@distinct array=ResultSet>>
