Dave!

No idea on the secure POP3 issue. You will see the protocol chatter in
@@results, which might help you understand what is going on.

One common spam defense for mailservers (SMTP servers) is to deny
"forwarding" (i.e. you are trying to send mail to a user at another domain,
so the SMTP server will need to forward the message.) You might want to try
configuring your SMTP server to "trust" the Witango server. Again, you will
see more information in the resultSet.

Subject: Witango-Talk: FW: Witango 4 and POP3

  Hi,

Does anyone know how to configure Witango4 to connect to a POP3 server
that requires secure authentication?

We're using Win2003 and the POP3 server that comes with it.

The weird thing is that we can send messages out to our own domain, but
not to any other domain, such as gmail or hotmail.

  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  Thanks

  Dave Shelley
