I have zabbix monitoring and graphing, and the memory values, like variablestore, seem incorrect, they don't go up, when we are hammering it. CacheBytesUsed seems right.

I've made some comments to WT in the past regarding the output of
@SERVERSTATUS and corrections have been made over time. I believe that the latest version 5.5.02[0|5] is accurate with what it reports. In my case, I maintain this information on a five minute refresh on a separate screen at all times. It helps me monitor the various loads on the services. Recently
I've found the ability to calculate an average execution time helpful.

I have been recently looking at what seems to be a problem with
@SERVERSTATUS to report accurate information in regard to the cache. I don't have any more information, but you're not alone in finding some of
the presented values odd.

Subject: Witango-Talk: Output of <@SERVERSTATUS NumCachedIncl>

Hi,

In my witango.ini file, I have:

...
CACHE=true
CACHEINCLUDEFILES=false
CACHESIZE=10000000
...

Meaning that I want to cache TAF's but not any included files.

When I check the value of <@SERVERSTATUS NumCachedIncl> on a running
server, it always returns a number. According to the docs, the tag
should
return "The number of included files currently in the included file
cache".
Shouldn't that be 0, since I have CACHEINCLUDEFILES set to false?

BTW, the behavior of the cache is apparently working correctly; I can
access an included file, modify it then access it again and see the
change
without having to purge the cache.

I just don't understand by the metatag would be showing included files
in
the cache if the cache is off.

Eric
