I did some consulting for a company in LA several years back. They did a large education administration piece of software and one of the cornerstones were beautifully generated PDFs for all sorts of things, like report cards and reports. They came from templates and such. I also did a hack way back then with pdf forms for an insurance company and it worked well. I posted on the insurance form back then, and I don't think I could find that code again, the post may be in archives. The name of the education administration company was Trivision, and the name of the software escapes me. e something. But they used to monitor this board. If I remember right, they used a com object for the pdf work.
