I am planning on moving all of my web hosting clients to a new Windows 2008 server, probably with 4 CPU's max. I'm currently running a Windows 2003 box about 5 years old with Witango 5.0 and 2 CPU's. My main problem with the existing server is Witango freezing up. It's usually once every 2 or 3 days, but in the busy times around Christmas for some of my ecommerce clients it locks up 3 or 4 times a day.
I'm planning on getting the Standard version of Witango 6 for my new setup. My question is, to those who have similar setups (about 70 - 80 small business clients, half of whom probably run some witango functions), is the Standard version of Witango 6.0 on Windows 2008 probably going to solve most of my freezing problems? Would there be a huge advantage with the Advanced version? There's not a lot of info on the Witango site as far as the differences and pros and cons of each version. Thanks for any help and advice you may have! -- Steve ************************************************** Steve Briggs Wow Pages Portland, Maine Longmont, Colorado 207-761-2450 888-325-5907 [email protected] ************************************************** ---------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, please send an email to [email protected] with "unsubscribe witango-talk" in the body.
