The start screen is determined by the initial widget hierarchy you
construct from within your application constructor, and subsequent
screens within the application are based on changes you make to this
widget hierarchy from slots bound to event signals. Within a slot you
are free to change anything you like (adding, removing, or modifying
widgets). That is really the essence of a Wt application.

If you wish to redirect to another server, you should consider using
anchors (WAnchor, <a>), and for internal pages you could use simple
text or buttons where you react to the click signal, but for
consistency you could also use WAnchor's with internal paths and
listen for internal path changes. The latter approach has as the
benefit that it also generates the appropriate history and
forward/back button behaviors.

We realize that our documentation and training material could use
improvements, and this is high on our priority list for 2009.

No, there is not (at least not that we are aware of!). While we
appreciate it is easier to interact, the mailing list has as benefit
to create a searchable archive, which serves well for whoever has the
same questions in the future. And before anyone suggests it: yes, it
would be about time to have a decent forum application :-)

Regards,
koen
