Hi all,

I don't really want to show off , but with boost already prebuilt and
without support for SSL , it takes around 2 minutes to build Wt3.0.0 on my
machine :-)

    CPU: AMD 7750 ( Dual-Core )
    RAM: 4GB DDR2
HDD: 2x SATA II in Raid 0 , 32 Mb Cache

    Runs on Ubuntu 9.04

He he .. not really the most modern machine , I just wanted to make a point
that 3 hours is too much :-)

Cheers!
Dushan

Bhushan,

I have not seen a significant increase in build speed, and 3.5hours
is definately too much. Adding zlib and openssl should not slow down
your build. ALL_BUILD is not new, it has always been there (cmake
creates it automatically).
But what I do know, is that if you build a WT DLL instead of the
default static lib, that the linking of your examples will be much
faster. I didn't make dll building the default because it makes
executing the examples less convenient; you must make sure that wt's
dll files are in your PATH then.

Regards,
Wim.
