Aah sorry. You are right, I was not testing refresh. I see the same
behaviour now. I suspect the reason is that a page that has unloaded
is no longer able to communicate with the server. So while we are
still able to catch the event, we can no longer notify the server of
this... As with many things HTML it is not really defined what you can
still do during page unload and so different vendors took different
options. I cannot imagine a solution for this though.
