This is first time I heard about boost logging, I did not knew it existed so first reason would be ignorance.
After taking a quick look at boost logging, it looks kind of different, but as always its "boostisized" with features and new ways of doing things, which can take a bit of time to absorb. There is no logger hierarchy, and it seems there is no file/xml runtime configuration, unless I missed it. I'm very familiar with log4j model, and its configuration, it so log4cplus has an advantage for me in the fact that its almost 1-for-1 port of log4j, so I can reuse all the log4j know-how and even config files. Regards, Max ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable. Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense. http://p.sf.net/sfu/splunk-d2d-c2 _______________________________________________ witty-interest mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/witty-interest
