This is first time I heard about boost logging, I did not knew it
existed so first reason would be ignorance.

After taking a quick look at boost logging, it looks kind of
different, but as always its "boostisized" with features and new ways
of doing things, which can take a bit of time to absorb. There is no
logger hierarchy, and it seems there is no file/xml runtime
configuration, unless I missed it.

I'm very familiar with log4j model, and its configuration, it so
log4cplus has an advantage for me in the fact that its almost 1-for-1
port of log4j, so I can reuse all the log4j know-how and even config
files.
