I have kind of a "dumb" question: Wt depends on fastCGI being available from the web server for any serious sort of deployment, but the reality is that most popular web hosting doesn't seem to support it. Instead one sees countless PHP and/or Perl based web applications, typically using mod_php or mod_perl.
So my question is: is it even theoretically possible to write a fastCGI implementation in php or perl, so that one could run Wt without fastCGI support in the web server ?
