Used to be able to build with Visual Studio Expresses + Windows SDKs. It
was easier to install VS Pro but possible without.

I honestly haven't tried in a while since it took so much effort to
maintain a machine without VS Pro but if someone wanted to run down the
issues in the build using only SDKs and VS Expresses, I'd be happy to help
get the .*proj files working.
