I'm not raising a concern, I just noticed that there was a discussion while
triaging 3.x issues, for a new implementation for the wix toolset to write
the installed version into the registry.  Maybe I am misunderstanding the
discussion.  I just observe that the installed version of Wix is in the
registry in several locations so I did not understand the need for a new
implementation, but I am not opposed to it if someone else sees the need for
it.
