I don't think so, this is why we don't hide our msi entries, in case someone wants to uninstall a patch. It would be nice if there were a way to show updates but hide the msi.
I don't use burn yet, but I believe that you can author a patch bundle which I assume you would be able to uninstall from arp. If so it's yet another reason for us to ditch our custom chainer.
