You can get those things. Details vary depending on the language and the framework, C++ Dll, DTF, vbscript,, a program. It would be better if you said what type of CA you have. For an executable you pass them on the command line as /m=[Manufacturer] for example, square brackets causing the actual value to be passed. The same is true of the actual main application folder property, perhaps INSTALLFOLDER. In a deferred CA you may need to use the CustomActionData method. --------------- Phil Wilson
