Hi All, I'm using WiX 3.9 Toolset and I have just noticed that when Uninstalling my application I get the dreaded 1910 Error removing the desktop shortcut.
I've looked over various solutions on the web and I'm amazed that this is still an issue on what should be such a trivial feature of an installer. I have an Nvidia graphics card which seems to have something to do with the issue. Are there any updated solutions to this problem? All the solutions I find online are extremely old (2012) and seem to involve custom actions. Is this really still the best way to deal with this problem? My installer is perMachine.
