Probably we need the files included in the package. What do you
think?
I think those two apps are deprecated for a long time already, and
should
not be a reason to worry.
Hmm...
I doubt that the people in Debian agree with you. As long as the
packages are not orphaned ( a quick look shows they both have a
maintainer), they will stay. And if they won't build any more, a bug
will be filed against libwmaker0-dev...
I see two possibilities:
1) Resurrect the header files and put them into the package
2) Provide patches for fsviewer and wterm, so they don't no longer
depend on libwmaker
Option 1) is probably easier...
Hi,
no news about this problem. Carlos, is possible to do the option 1? If
we don't do nothing, the package will have problems to enter in the
debian distro.
I will try to finish the package this evening. Then I will send a patch
to the mailing list, because I cannot maintain the package now (I have
other package with many many work (uswusp)), but other person can use it
to create and upload the package. I can help as co-maintainer, uploader,
sex-machine or other debian role, but not maintainer.
Best Regards,
kix
Best regards
