This is probably related to the --enable-xrandr option and you
probably have a nvidia card, right? Some other people related
similar problems.

Right, but that version had no --enable-xrandr option and it is
default off until someone motivated enough fixes this issue with
fullscreen on some systems (it works for me on my laptop).
