Hi everyone, So I just sent a couple patches fixing some things I discovered on a fresh Window Maker install on my laptop. Basically, the legal panel breaks when you don't have Trebuchet MS installed and your sans-serif alias points to a font that's much wider.
Anyway, I fixed that by removing the newlines in the legal panel and figured I'd just go ahead and remove this dependency on Microsoft fonts in first place. There are two more spots that request MS fonts I didn't touch: the fancy italic "Window Maker" in the info panel, and the "Window Maker Preferences" on the main WPrefs screen. Since those are titles, we may want those particular fonts? I'm not sure. I figured that I would ask before I changed them. Also, I removed the newlines in dialog.c, but there's a ton of translated legal panel texts in the *.po files. Should I be editing them directly to remove the newlines? I'm not familiar with translations, so I didn't want to break anything without asking first. Finally, I noticed that kix had submitted some patches related to the dialogs back in May. It doesn't look like they ever got applied, and I was wondering if this was just an oversight. Here's a link: http://lists.windowmaker.org/dev/msg05004.html Thanks!
