Yes, I have tested Maximus using xterm, aterm and gnome-terminal. xprop | grep increment gives "program specified resize increment: 7 by 15". I have now tried it with other applications such as xlogo. Xlogo doesn't have resize increment specified and it doesn't act like gnome-terminal.
