Yes, WM is far from dead. But the OP has a point. Somebody
SHOULD take over the project. As all relevant development has
gone into Carlos' repo, and there is no sign of the official
maintainer picking up the project again, I think now is the time
to do something about it.
this issue just came up on Linux Weekly News, with me commenting that the
project seemed dead, and nobody spoke up to say that there was any
development going on.
you really do need to have a release, the last release is from 2005 (and
that's the last version that's packaged and included in the various
distro's repositories)
