Hello, I am trying to install Window Maker 0.95.2 on a CentOS 5.8 (i386) system. I downloaded the tar file, untarred it, and configure, make, make install seemed to go well. However, when I ran wmaker.inst, it seems I've run into an issue (see Terminal output below). It's configured Window Maker for a KDE environment instead of a GNOME environment. What do I need to do to successfully set it up for a GNOME environment, as well as switch my window manager over to Window Maker?
I've also been consulting these instructions here in addition to your instructions (even those these are for Fedora, should be similar enough). Seems everything went great up until wmaker.inst. http://forums.fedoraforum.org/archive/index.php/t-27387.html I'm really looking forward to trying Window Maker. I'd love to have a NeXTSTEP "feel" on my CentOS system. Thanks a bunch for all your help!
