That sounds simple enough. :-) How do I need to add the "sudo init 0" to my menu? Create a new "Run Program" entry on the menu?
Also, I don't think my account's in the sudo file (I always have to su to root to execute commands). Do I need to somehow add myself to sudo first? Thanks! I have a simple entry in my pull down menu which executes: sudo init 0 I have to issue my user password to shut it down. So were I to accidentally invoke shutdown from the menu, I have a simple way to back out. I'm all for clever code, but a lazy sysadmin is a good sysadmin... :-) Russ -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [email protected].
