On the other hand, the 'date' in 9base gives ??? for the NZDT timezone I happen to be in just now... Replacing the call in the status scrit with /bin/date obviously works fine. A quick look at the source and it's only allowing three characters for the TZ, but the use of #define to override libc-provided functions with 9lib functions confused me just enough that I thought I'd throw it out here now rather than let it simmer until I next have time to look at it.
