So, they swore a pact to the Devil? "They" meaning the Haitians? All of 'em? Every single one? Really. Not a righteous objector among 'em worth saving? That would not only be the most unified the Haitians have ever been, it has to be the most unified any nation has ever been, anywhere. Quite a long way they've fallen from that lofty peak of unanimity.
