When I was in Australia last year, I was able to watch the regular daily
versions of "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report," which air there Tuesday
through Friday at 6:30 and 7:00 P.M. -- just a couple hours after they air in
the U.S. Odd only because I knew Australia is a couple years behind on
American soap operas. Also, they didn't have color TV until the mid-1970s.
