This is essentially the same explanation as Woolworths stores in Australia, 
which have also outlived their foreign inspiration -- actually, the founders 
almost used the name "Wallworths," but then basically said, "Hey, we're all the 
way down here in Australia, so F.W. Woolworth will never find out about us."
