This whole deal is driving us crazy 'cuz: a: here in Southeastern MI, the "regular", so to speak, Jeopardy! feed is at 7:30 pm, following Wheel of Fortune. Unlike the rest of the civilized world, where Jeopardy! comes first [1] b: and also, unlike most of the civilized world, Jeopardy is NOT carried on the local NBC Blue Network affiliate (or even, in some parts, an O&O!), but is broadcast on NBC Red, namely Detroit station WDIV. (Guess what "channel" that's on, eh?) c: however, the "College Championship" is carried on WZYZ, which is, yes, an ABC affiliate. Oh, and for more craziness, the standard program these weeks is being hosted by Ken Jennings, while the College tournament has that shill for some memory fake-aid or another. [1] Well, at least this week, when NBC is broadcasting the Olympics starting at 7:30 pm, they've been accomodating us by moving Jeopardy! to the proper 7 pm slot, and, well, I guess transporting Wheel into the "out there", or something.
